GTA 6’s Australian Rating Lists Strong Sex Scenes, but Details Remain Unknown

Australia’s official classification for Grand Theft Auto VI lists “Strong Sex Scenes” among its consumer-advice warnings. The entry confirms that sexual scenes were declared for the game, but it does not describe their context, length, presentation or interactivity. (classification.gov.au)

The game is listed as MA 15+ under the IARC Global Rating Tool, with advice citing strong violence, sexual references, sexualised imagery, strong nudity, strong sex scenes, coarse language and crude humour. The classification date is June 25, 2025. (classification.gov.au)

The listing provides no ratings summary or examples, so it does not establish whether the scenes appear in cutscenes, optional activities, relationship storylines or gameplay. It also does not provide an ESRB or PEGI content breakdown; Rockstar’s official GTA VI page displays an ESRB notice that the game may contain content inappropriate for children. (rockstargames.com)

Rockstar says GTA VI is due November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Claims about specific sexual content, story events or gameplay systems go beyond the published Australian record. (rockstargames.com)
