CityEd’s GTA-Style London Map Is a Fan Project, Not GTA VI News
CityEd’s GTA-style London map is an unofficial fan project, not a GTA VI leak or a newly announced Rockstar location. The creator reimagines the capital as “Trafalgar,” using fictional district names and compressed geography in the style of Grand Theft Auto maps. (reddit.com)
The concept renames locations including Kings Cross as Dukes Cross, the Barbican Estate as the Bastion Estate and Angel as Saint. CityEd says it also covers Southend (“Eastsea”), Brighton (“Sunny Shore”), rural areas, national parks, smaller settlements and airports. (reddit.com)
CityEd has made a PDF available through Patreon and published a YouTube video on the mapping process; according to the creator, a second page extends the concept to a wider UK map and includes fictional Tube and bus maps for Trafalgar. The project is presented as a “what if” exercise, not evidence of a Rockstar plan, future expansion or map leak. (reddit.com)
Rockstar’s official GTA VI page places protagonists Jason and Lucia in the state of Leonida and lists a release date of November 19, 2026. It does not identify London or Trafalgar as a destination. (store.rockstargames.com)

Does anyone have a source from the creator confirming which parts of the map are based on existing London geography and which areas are entirely invented? The scale and renamed districts make it hard to judge how closely it is meant to mirror the real city.

The safest approach is to treat it as an unofficial fan interpretation unless the creator has published a map key, development notes, or comparison images. The article’s main point seems to be that it should not be read as evidence of a GTA VI London setting.
